Discovering Spain drives you from Málaga to Granada and back, with an official Alhambra guide and the gardens, Generalife and Alcazaba tickets. Book a Full Tour option: only those add the Nasrid Palaces.
A long day with the logistics solved. An air-conditioned vehicle collects you in Málaga, at the city centre stop or at the cruise terminal, drives the 125 km to Granada in about 1 h 30, and an authorised Alhambra guide takes over at the monument. Total time: about 9 hours.
The option decides the palaces. Every option includes the Alhambra, the Generalife gardens and the Alcazaba. Only the Full Tour options (Full Tour with city pickup, with cruise pickup, or the small-group version) add the Nasrid Palaces; the Essential Tour excludes them. A September 2026 guest noted that anyone without the palaces waits while the others go in. Pay for Full.
Expect a short stop in Granada before the Alhambra, where guests report breakfast, a look at the cathedral and the handover of physical tickets. City pickup is at Hotel Vincci Posada del Patio only; the company won't collect from hotels or villages round Málaga. Bring the original passport, give full names and ID numbers at booking, and leave the stroller: it isn't allowed inside. Non-refundable.
