Sultana-tours · Alhambra entrance
Sultana-tours takes groups of up to 30 into the Alhambra on the official night-visit evenings, with an official guide. Pick it for the quiet: the palaces lit up, fewer people, and the city lights below.

The Alhambra opens at night on a fixed calendar, and this tour runs on those evenings. From 15 October to 31 March the Nasrid Palaces open at night on Fridays and Saturdays, 20:00 to 21:30; from April to mid-October, Tuesday to Saturday, 22:00 to 23:30 (official prices page). Sultana-tours meets half an hour before, gives an introduction and shows the Palace of Charles V, then takes you in. The listing has 95 reviews at 4.0.
Choose the option carefully. The options named "Palaces" (Alhambra night-Palaces and Palaces last minute, at 19:30 or 21:30) are the Nasrid Palaces night visit. A plain "Alhambra night" option is the night visit to the Generalife gardens and palace instead, and one May 2026 guest discovered that only after the tour. The official night Generalife visit stops for the winter after 14 November.
What you get is atmosphere. The rooms are lit, the crowds are thinner and the Court of the Lions looks very different at night. Inside time is short, about 1 h 45 min in all, and the Alcazaba is not part of any night visit. Confirmation can take 48 hours, and the sale is final.
In front of the entrance gate before you go in, where the Sultana-tours guide waits. Winter Palaces options meet at 19:30 for the 20:00 visit.
History of the Nasrid dynasty and a look at the Palace of Charles V on the way to the palaces.
The Mexuar, the Court of the Myrtles and the Court of the Lions under the night lighting, on Palaces options.
On the plain night options, the Generalife gardens and palace instead, on the official garden-visit evenings.
The monument closes at the end of the night slot, 21:30 in winter and 23:30 in summer.
★★★★★A lovely experience, very atmospheric. Our guide Carolina was knowledgable and enthusiastic. Highly recommend this tour, it’s quieter than during the day and you get the chance for some lovely photos
★★★★★Wonderful way to see the Alhambra-the night views of the city and the way the contrast lighting makes the beautiful details pop was perfect.
★★★★★Two weeks prior to our visit, we were unable to make reservations through the Alhambra's official website, so we took this English-guided night tour. It was night, but the Nasrid palace was wonderful.
★★★★★So glad we got the tickets for the night tour, fantastic experience, less crowded and incredibly atmospheric.
